With such a performance he had against the Knicks I think he knows that he has bigger things in store now. It it definetely something he can use cause he knows he can drop 30-40 any given night if he is warm.

HISTORIC performance this was. Few tidbits of interesting info:

- There have been 24 games of 50 or more points in Madison Square Garden. Of those 24, the hometown Knicks lead all teams, responsible for 9 of those nights. Second franchise on the list? The Warriors, with 8 instances of 50 or more.

- Stephen Curry shattered MSG's previous 3-point record of 8 and recorded 11 made treys.

- It also goes without saying that no player to ever hit 11 or more threes in a game has done so with 7 assists... At least, until Curry did it.

- Curry's 54 points is tied for 3rd most ever by a visiting player in MSG. The only visiting players to ever score 54 or more points in the Garden are Wilt Chamberlain (a record 73, plus several other nights), Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, and Rick Barry... ALL of whom are locked in Hall-of-Famers. (FYI, LeBron has two 50-point games in MSG, but to date has never reached 54.)

Definately an elite performce and correct me if I'm wrong, but the best scoring performance of any GSW player since Rick Barry? Don't think Mullin, THardway or Sprewell ever scored that much in a game for the team.
