Rush, Kwame, and 2nd rd pick for Kaman.
You mean we could have kept Monta AND got a legit center who can play this season?

Kaman is nowhere close to Bogut.

I disagree, Kaman isn't far off what Bogut is and has had less injuries. Kaman is out of contract though after this season and that is the biggest factor of all and thus, well done the FO for not making that trade, though it would have cost little anyway.
Also, I'm not sure what it'd be like having two Centers like Bogut and Kaman next to each other at PF and Center. Might seem a bit clumsy, but I could see either one defending and scoring against other PFs quite well. Something I haven't seen done much in the nba is pairing two Centers side by side. That would allow for the trading of Lee for a great SF, though obviously not going to happen, just a thought of what it'd be like ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Exactly. The guy's a better shooter. That's it. Bogut is a superior rebounder, low-post scorer, passer, on-ball defender, weak side shot blocker, tall-standing shot blocker, charge-taker, teammate, AND he's younger and under contract for 2 more years. What exactly is the advantage in acquiring an expirer center versus acquiring a center under contract with better basketball skills? ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

The Monta - Curry back court had to be broken if we ever wanted a shot to the title. Also Kaman is an expiry, no guarantees he would stay.
