I personally haven't. But i know people that do. What I notice with people (notably my friends) that use groupon is that they end up spending more on their monthly budget then if they didn't actually use it in the first place. |

They have alot good deals, nice variety of things available as well, actually like you said enough to make you go over your spending budget. Internet shopping in general is like that, once the ball starts rolling its hard no to buy. But overall groupon is a good place to buy, they take forever to ship the items that's the only headache. I got some real nice noise cancellation headphones for $50, usually was $129, and just 2 other items from there, am happy with my purchases minus the long wait from the delivery. |

I am planning a trip to Europe, but i am having trouble narrowing down the cities in my literary (just western Europe). I want to see about 5-6 cities, tops, while I am there. But i got like 12 I want to see (pretty much all the major ones). I convince myself I can go on two trips (one this year, one in the future), but being the booger that I am, I cannot narrow them down. Suggestions? Anyone been to any of them?
Anyways, here my top 12 in no particular order: 1. Pamplona Spain (family visit... automatic... plus running of the bulls in July) 2. Barcelona, Spain (warm beaches, cool people) 3. Paris, France (just cuz it's Paris) 3.5. London, England (see Paris) 4. Amsterdam, Netherlands (great architecture plus night life) 5. Berlin, Germany (the mecca for any 20th century world history teacher) 5.5. Munich, Germany (more great 20th German history) 6. Zurich, Switzerland (Backpacking in Europe means going through the swiss alps) 7. Prague, Czech Republic (some great historical buildings 8. Rome (Ancient Roman Empires, coliseum, Vatican City, gelatos) 8.5. FLorance/Venice/Pisa (more Italian Destinations worth visiting when in Rome) 9. Warsaw, Poland (especially want to see some concentration camps, Aushwitz) 10. French Riviera and Monaco (Monte Carlo) So, someone want to narrow my list to 5-6 cities... The only thing set in stone is Pamplona and Barcelona. I don't know if I want to go the Mediterranian Route (via Rome, Florance/Pisa/Milan, Monaco) or the Big CIties route (Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin). Plan on going mid June to mid July |

I have been to Paris, London, Rome & Zurich... I did this when I was very young but Rome & Paris were the most enjoyable to explore. (for my age)
The cities I'd like to visit on that list Amsterdam (i love my weed), Prague (i love my women), Berlin, Warsaw & Monaco (if i could afford it) I'd contemplate joining you brother... but unfortunately I am saving for Raiders/Warriors games in November. |

I don't know where that illusion about Prague and good looking girls is coming from. During my time in Prague I have to say that I rarely saw a hot chick there...can't be that my standards are that high. lol
Better looking girls are here, honestly, gorgeous girls. And they call Belgrade "New Prague", I think because of a nightlife here. Anyway, the city itself is quite beautiful, and I really loved it. Though, to me that's not big of a difference, because the buildings are a lot like here, but I guess it will be a nice change for either of you guys. Still it is very beautiful and you should go. ![]() ![]() |

Umm Prague is the porn starlet capital of the world.. All the hot girls have probably moved to Los Angeles to chase their dream. |

Yeah, I know, I wanted to ask if it is because of the porn, and I forgot.
But anyway, most of those Czech porn stars I saw, they have good bodies, but I still consider most of them to be ugly, or just look stupid. I know that doesn't matter that much when you watch a porn, but I assume you wanna see pretty girls walking down the streets. Though, I think I did notice a couple of "bombs". They are usually not that good, but those rare types of really good looking girls are amazing. ![]() ![]() |

See, i would consider belgrade or Moscow, but that is too far from the western countries I plan on visiting.... i would love to do an Eastern Europe tour some time in the future. I want to check out Serbia, Romania, Ukraine, and Poland.
And Pawno, I think you are right. As a historian, I would love to see London, but many people tell me that it is a bit overrated, and I am much better off seeing Paris, Rome, Barcelona and Amsterdam (if I am looking forward to a good combination of history, architecture. beaches and nightlife). |
![]() See, it's not that far from Rome actually. Kidding, I know what you mean. If you ever do make a choice for that other tour, you won't be disappointed, few nice things to see, and that nightlife everyone's talking about, though, I'm not into that that much anymore. ![]() ![]() |

After seeing that map... I think I wanna go to Europe.
Budapest has been a name that Ive wanted to visit clearly just by the name (I imagine a pest controller with his big spray gun ethnic cleanings Buda monks) *Not that I am a religion hater... It's just how I envision the sidewalks in my memory. I don't even know what's on offer in Hungary??? EATING!!!! |

Yeah... I think what I will do this time around is the Northern Tour of Berlin-Amsterdam-Paris-Barcelona-Pamplona... Maybe include London in there (between Amsterdam and Paris).
The next time (either next year or the year after), I might do more of a Central tour which has me going to Italy, Greece, Vienna, Prague, and Warsaw. The third time would be Southeastern Europe, mostly former Soviet Union countries. |
